Pipe Organs of Boardwalk Hall

Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall houses the largest musical instrument on earth.

More powerful than a dozen orchestras, it can both whisper and thunder into the 5.5 million cubic feet of air space in the main arena. A second instrument by W. W. Kimball is also part of the Adrian Phillips Theater. Both of these incredible machines were included as part of the original stage equipment for the building and can be seen and heard in operation every weekday for free 1/2 hour concerts and tours Memorial Day through Labor Day and select weeks in December (excluding holidays) at 12 noon as well as part of the entertainment for some shows.  A Curator's Tour that takes you inside the organs is available on Wednesdays at 10:00 AM April through December; tickets are $10 and available at the website listed below.
