Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall to welcome over 12,500 attendees for cheer event
Spectra by Comcast Spectacor, which provides Venue Management and Food Services & Hospitality to Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall and the Convention Center, is pleased to welcome over 12,500 attendees to this weekend’s ‘Battle at the Boardwalk Nationals’.
The event, produced by Spirit Unlimited, will have over 275 competing teams, each fighting to qualify for the US Finals. Battle at the Boardwalk awards 2 Full Paid and 4 at Large Bids to the Cheerleading Worlds. For more information on Worlds Bids, visit here. In addition, Future 5 returns to the Boardwalk for another epic showdown of our Future World Champions. Future 5 High Score winners will receive a special Future 5 award and a highlight in a national cheer magazine.
Locally, the event is estimated to make over a $3 million economic impact on Atlantic City during the two-day event with 3,000 hotel room nights contracted.
The event features performances from All Dance, Schools, Exhibition, Special Needs Competitive, All-Star Prep, All-Star Levels 1,2,5R, Junior 5, 5/6 Non Worlds Teams, 1st Performance Worlds Teams, Recreation, All-Star Levels 3, 4, 4.2 and 2nd Performance WORLD Teams.
