Boardwalk Hall to Welcome Back the New Jersey State High School Wrestling Championships on March 6, 7, and 8, 2015

In what has become an eagerly anticipated annual tradition, hundreds of the top high school wrestlers from around the state will converge on Atlantic City to spend the weekend competing in the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) State Wrestling Championships at Boardwalk Hall March 6, 7, and 8, 2015.
An exclusive Ticketmaster All-Session pre-sale will be available on Monday, December 8 at 10 AM through Thursday, December 11 at 10 PM. Customers can access the pre-sale through Ticketmaster.com or the Boardwalk Hall and NJSIAA websites.
Customers can purchase up to 50 tickets online through Ticketmaster during the December 8-December 11 pre-sale or at the Boardwalk Hall Box Office and Ticketmaster starting on Friday, December 12. Purchasing 15 or more tickets at the box office will be considered a group order and a $20 service charge will be added.
On Friday, December 12 at noon, All-session tickets will go on sale to the public at the Boardwalk Hall Box Office as well as all Ticketmaster locations, by calling 1-800-736-1420 or visiting www.ticketmaster.com. All-session tickets will be priced at $40 per ticket. Single-session reserved tickets will go on sale Friday, January 30 and are priced at $10 per session.
Senior citizens (65 and older), children (2-12) and students with a valid grade school or high school ID are eligible for a $2 ticket purchased starting Friday, March 6 which can be purchased through the weekend of the event. These discounts are only available at the Boardwalk Hall Box Office.
The competition begins at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 6, for the preliminaries and pre-quarter finals. On Saturday, March 7, the competition starts at 10 a.m. for the quarter-finals and wrestlebacks #1 and #2. Following the morning session, Boardwalk Hall will clear the facility and re-open doors at 4 p.m. for the 5 p.m. evening session of the semi-finals and wrestlebacks #3 and #4. On Sunday, March 8, competition begins at 10 a.m. for wrestleback #5 and consolations, followed by the finals and awards ceremony at 2:30 p.m. Doors open one hour prior to each session.
The tournament is the highlight of the year for the sport of wrestling. The race for the championship titles begins with the district competitions on Friday, February 20 and Saturday, February 21 in each of the 14 weight classes (106 lbs, 113 lbs, 120 lbs, 126 lbs, 132 lbs, 138 lbs, 145 lbs, 152 lbs, 160 lbs, 170 lbs, 182 lbs, 195 lbs, 220 lbs, 285 lbs.) and is open to all New Jersey high schools who are members of the NJSIAA. The competition heightens with the final regional competition on Wednesday, February 25, Friday, February 27, and Saturday, February 28. The season culminates with the State Championships in Atlantic City where the top wrestlers in each weight class of the eight regions will vie for the Championship Title.
A limited amount of parking is available in the Boardwalk Hall parking garage on a first-come, first-served basis. Convenient, economical parking is located throughout Atlantic City in municipal lots and privately owned garages.
