Global Spectrum and community partners team up to raise funds for the community foodbank of New Jersey southern branch this holiday season with deck the hall festival of trees
Global Spectrum, facility managers of Boardwalk Hall and Atlantic City Convention Center, will host the 2014 Deck The Hall – Festival of Trees this holiday season at Boardwalk Hall, a season-long charitable event intended to generate funds for the Community FoodBank of New Jersey Southern Branch.
Local businesses, organizations, and arena partners have sponsored custom-decorated holiday trees to be on display from Friday, December 5, through Friday, January 2, in the Boardwalk Hall lobby facing the Atlantic City Boardwalk.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated directly to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey Southern Branch to support those in need this holiday season.
“We are thrilled to be the beneficiary of the Festival of Trees this year. As we struggle to ensure that all those in need of emergency food actually receive it, it's comforting to know we have partners in our battle to feed the hungry," said Evelyn Benton, Executive Director of the Community FoodBank of New Jersey Southern Branch.
“We are excited to host this terrific charitable event this holiday season at Boardwalk Hall ,” said Fran Rodowicz, General Manager of Boardwalk Hall. “With an abundance of support from our community partners we will be able to significantly help those in need this holiday season.”
